IMPORTANT: Due to extremely high demand we will not accept anyone who hasn’t filled out this short, 15 question survey. This survey will help us determine if you are a good fit for The Healing Oasis and if The Healing Oasis is a good fit for you.

What type and stage of cancer were you diagnosed with?

What appeals to you about The Healing Oasis and what would you expect to get from your 3 week stay with us?

Do you believe that your body is designed to heal itself if it is given what it needs you can heal from cancer?

Are you committed to changing your lifestyle and diet in order to encourage your body to heal?

Are you able to walk up a hill? Are you able to walk independently?

Are you able to eat and swallow food? Are you a picky eater or are you fine with good, wholesome, organic meals made from a private chef? (we don’t offer processed food or sugar).

Will you fully embrace every aspect of The Healing Oasis knowing that we believe in a holistic approach to healing that includes mind, body, spirit? Do you believe that healing isn’t just physical and that your emotional and spiritual health play a role as well?

Are you a positive person or do you complain a lot?

Are you willing to learn how you can heal and apply what you have learned at THO to when you get home?

Are you looking for one thing to cure you of cancer or do you realize healing is a journey that involves many different aspects and that there’s no magic bullet for curing cancer?

Do you understand we are not publicly funded and coming here is an investment in your health?

Have you looked into other places like The Healing Oasis? (i.e. Hope4Cancer)

Do you smoke? If you quit, how long ago?

Are you independent? Can you start a fire in a wood stove to heat your cabin? Can you take care of yourself knowing this isn’t a hospital? Are you in a lot of pain?

Will you want anyone else to stay with you? How many? Are you wanting to bring a pet? What kind of pet and how big? (not all our cabins are pet-friendly and we only allow small dogs).
